Love builds a network!

There are encounters that interweave paths, through which embroideries of light, friendship and fraternity are woven; following directions that are at times improbable, God himself makes his way into our lives and reaches us in our daily routine. Thus, from collaboration, friendship and cordial exchange with some of the responsible members of the Bavarian diocese, in which our community is placed and with which our Institute has been collaborating in Rome for almost ten years, beautiful and fraternal relationships were born. It was very lovely to welcome, on Friday, October 20, a group of about thirty German friends on holiday in Sicily with the Huber family, who have known us for some time now. The desire to share friendships and family relationships is one of the expressions of the communion with which God sometimes gifts us; there is nothing lovelier than to see those who love us and whom we love love one another in turn. In reality, for the Church it has been so from the beginning, it was so for the first friends of Jesus, and it is thus that we continue to discover ourselves as brothers and sisters; no one remains merely “of Paul” or “of Apollos,” the Church enjoys unity in the specificity of the Churches, and humanity finds a radical unity in the complexity of the world. May our Churches, our cities, our homes always be places of friendship, fraternity, unity and peace.
