The community of Naso (Messina), in communion with the parish priests who joyfully welcomed the project, is carrying out the Activity Camps, open to all ages, for two or three afternoons a week; they will conclude on Sunday, August 27, with a great gathering called “Family Afternoon,” a festive afternoon in which the activities carried out will be presented and, above all, the formation journey undertaken by the young people to discover ever more the presence of Jesus in our life and to learn to build with others relationships inspired by the Gospel, so as to feel like “church”: one single family!
Thanks to the facilitators, who come from all the parishes and have been suitably prepared, it has been possible to welcome and accompany the many participants in an effective, fruitful and joyful way.
To date, more than 130 children and young people have enrolled and, on average, about 50 people attend each meeting, from 4 to 20 years old, with a predominance of boys and girls!
We thank God for the gift of communion expressed in the journey of an ever more synodal Church.
